Gufy Media: Procedure Text - How to Find Unusual Gifts

How to Find Unusual Gifts

Giving gifts is a well-known way to show our attention toward somebody else. Moreover, giving gifts may be important for certain special moments. Unusual or even weird gifts would leave a sweet memory for us and the recipient. So, try these tips to find something unusual as your gifts.
Look for gifts wherever you find yourself, especially when you were on a trip. From a bazaar in Bandung to a tag sale in Berlin.
Use the Internet. Follow links until you find what you want. Track down items such as rare prints, out-of-print books or antiques in the auction.
Give a welcome service. A massage, costume makeovers, a day at the spa, or romantic dinner will be a nice welcome gift.
Combine one or two things for a spectacular effect. The picture frame that you bought in Bali might provide the perfect background for showing off the portrait of the recipient.
Come to a handicrafts store and talk to the people that make unique pieces.
Visit art supply stores, craft shops, art galleries and factory stores for ideas.

Percussion means striking. All percussion instruments make musical sounds when struck by the hands, by the fingers, or by some suitable implement.
Bells and gongs, bars of wood or metal, and even bowls and thin stones make fine percussion instruments. The orchestras of Eastern people sometimes have a wonderful variety of these and other kinds of percussion instruments, including drums of every size and shape. But in Western symphony orchestra percussion instruments are not very numerous. The bowl-shaped kettledrums, or timpani, are almost always present. They give a clear, definite note and a sonorous tone that can be as soft or as loud as the player wishes. Other types of drums may also be used.
Cymbals are brass plates that are clashed or jangled together. The triangle is a metal rod left open at the corner. The xylophone is a row of wooden bars. The glockenspiel has metal bars that sound ringing and enchanting. It is often played by a keyboard, called a celesta. Gufy Media: Speech Text - YOUTH

YOUTH

Salam
MUQODDIMAH

Praise be to Allah, The Lord of the universe who has given us the blessing, so we can live in this world well.
Peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad that has shown us from the dark way to the right way that is Islam religion.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Honorable juries,
And dear audience.

As the Moslem generation, we have great responsibility to the future of religion and nation. Young generation is the only hope of the life of nation, the development and the decline of nations depends on them. And the victory and the destruction of religion and nation are on the hand of next generation. It's right what have been said by Islam philosopher Musthofa Al-Gholayain in the book Idhotun Nasyi'in reads :

"Hi youth .... Surely all kinds of community's problem, in the success or not depend on your behavior .... and surely the development of religion, nation and country is on your shoulders".

Ladies and Gentlemen, dear brothers and sisters,
But the reality speaks the contrary ....
Let's have a view a moment to the life of youth at the present time .... !!! Many of them like to waste their parents' wealth uselessly, many are drop-out of school that finally ending in a frustration. Many don't know their purpose of life that their life is compared with water on the leaf of taro. They are easily influenced and played. If the condition of youth like this, just fond of strong drink, morphine, opium and narcotic, how will the fate of nation in the future? I think the earth we live on is hotter and hotter. The clear sky changes to be dark, the tear of cry will never stop .... repenting the fate that tortures their nation.

Ladies and Gentlemen, dear brothers and sisters,
Surely, it's hard to live in this Millenium era. But as Moslem youth, we must not surrender and be desperate. Do the good and useful deeds.
Moslem generation should have motto:
– Being brave to live not afraid of dying.
– To be afraid of death, Never live.
– To be terrified to live, Pass away, please.
Convince ourselves that the help of Allah always accompanies us, He will always help us.

That's all. Thank you for your attention and I beg your pardon for all the lack of it
Finally I say:

PARENTS

Salam

In every day, in every month and in every year we must think of our parents. That is our obligation as a Moslem. But if we look at the condition now, we will find many deviations, especially in the behavior. We speak carelessly, rebel and even kill the parents. Parents treat and look after us with a good care but we think that parents have never loved and given affection to us.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
We must repent and apologize to all our mistakes so that our patents receive and admit us again as their beloved child. They always miss us every time even though we have made many mistakes to them. That's why Islam laws states in our prophet hadits:

"The angry of parents indicates the angry of Allah and the willing of parents indicates the willing of ALLAH."

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Knowing the warning from ALLAH in that hadits, we should realize and change our behavior to our parents. But reality is different. Many young people drink alcoholic beverage, and some others consume drugs and even some of them fell to the dark way by doing free sex. MasyaAllah .....

Do you know that our parents suffer?
Do you know that our parents love us?
Do you know that our parents cry?
Why do you hurt them?

Ya Allah help us ........

Ladies and Gentlemen,
May Allah help us in our life by leading us to the good way. May Allah show us the right way in behaving to our parents. AMEN ....

That's my speech, forgive me for the mistakes. Finally I say:

Gufy Media: Speech Text - THE IMPORTANCE OF ENGLISH

THE IMPORTANCE OF ENGLISH

Salam

Mastering science well is a requirement for someone to gain bliss in life. For example; someone who masters English well is able to improve his career, as English is as the international language. We have known that in this modern era almost all aspects of life, from the smallest to the biggest one, use English as the lingua franca of it, for instance: in the field of business, commerce, administration, and government. Knowing this, we are as students, we are demanded to be able to anticipate the situation, transition, development, and the progress of civilization, even it is in the field of language. As we know that language is very important for the success or failure of someone's career.

Dear audience,
In the field of education, English plays an important role. Because by mastering English well means we have a key to open the door of science. We can study science of which sources are written in English. I think we have known that almost all science books have been written in English, don't we? And by mastering English well, we can exchange information with other countries about the things which are closely connected with education. Nowadays our government has been sending the students abroad to study the science. And the students that are sent are those who master English, of course. Because the science they will study is served in English. That's why the role of English is considered very important in the field of education.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I think we have known the importance of English, mainly in this era. And we are going to face the globalization era, aren't we? Aren't we aware about this? And what will we have to prepare to face the globalization era? The answer is studying the science. In doing so, we need a skill in language. And of course, the most important language is English. It is an international language, right? Knowing the importance of English, as students, we must study and master it. Without mastering English, we will look behind in science. I know that English used to be a bugaboo subject in the eyes of students. It used to be, but not now, right? As almost all students nowadays have been aware of the importance of it. In their mind, English is a language that must be studied and mastered.

Dear audience,
That's all for my speech, and I hope what I have delivered can be an addition of knowledge for the students in order to know the importance of English in the field of education.

Finally I say:

Gufy Media: Speech Text - DRUG ABUSE

DRUG ABUSE

Salam

If we look at our surrounding now, we would find there are many deviation of morality in almost all aspect of life. And as the Moslem youth, do we have to let our friends, our brothers, our sisters and the most young generation influenced and depend on DRUG ABUSE? Do we have to let them increase the mortality by killing each other? And must we let the death increases because of AIDS? The answer must be NO and NEVER.

Young Moslem generation,
As the Moslem youth, we have great responsibility to the future of religion and nation. Surely, it is hard for us as youth to live in this millenium era. What must we do to face the reality? Of course, besides we have to make ourselves near to ALLAH we have to supply ourselves with good deeds, ability and skills that are relevant to Islam laws.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
But the reality speaks the contrary. There are still many people think that looking for the forbidden jobs is very difficult even the allowed ones. They are influenced by the wrong mottoes, many of them like to take the bad way to get the money, for example: robbing, stealing, hijacking, etc. They don't know who is friend and who is the enemy. In their mind the most important is how to get a lot of money.

Young Moslem generation,
If the condition of people like this, how is the fate of our religion and nation in the future? Ya ALLAH, I think the world will be damaged by their own action. They will destroy their religion life. Men will be considered as dirty animal, and our country will be called the bad country.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Last but not least, let's pray together to ALLAH. May we are as Moslem given power by Allah to carry out the good deeds and to fight the evils in this world, especially in our country.

That is my speech, forgive me if I make mistake. Finally I say

Gufy Media: Report Text - Lightning

Lightning is a sudden, violent flash of electricity between a cloud and the ground, or from cloud to cloud. A lightning fl ash, or bolt, can be several miles long. It is so hot, with an average temperature of 34,000° Centigrade, that the air around it suddenly expands with a loud blast. This is the thunder we hear.

Lightning occurs in hot, wet storms. Moist air is driven up to a great height. It forms a type of cloud called cumulonimbus. When the cloud rises high enough, the moisture freezes and ice crystals and snow flakes are formed. These begin to fall, turning to rain on the way down. This rain meets more moist air rising, and it is the friction between them which produces static electricity. When a cloud is fully charged with this electricity, it discharges it as a lightning flash.

In fact, we would be the first to see any slithering snakes that may be a danger. “After hearing the word snakes, the elephants screeched and off they gwents thundering in fright.

Gufy Media: Recount Text - My Lucky Day

Last Saturday I woke up early, but I didn’t get up because there was no school. Suddenly, my telephone was rung. It was my friend Fanny, she asked me to go out at 10.00 o’clock. She wanted to buy something in traditional market.
Finally, we were out. In the street, I saw a piece of pink coupon. Interested with its colour, I took it, then Fanny and I read this out. We were fully shocked, it was a receipt of a four nights tour to Lombok !! The expired date was that day. Gufy Media: Recount Text - Adolescence

Last night, I read an article about adolescence in a magazine. I learned that it was a time of change between childhood and adulthood.
After I finished reading the article from the magazine, I remembered my own adolescence. I was fourteen at that time. I felt very emotional about everything. But I tried to learn more about myself. I tried to discover what I wanted to do, and what kind of people I wanted to be.
To divert my emotions, I took many extra curricular activities. I took piano lessons on Mondays. On Tuesdays, I joined an English course. Then on Wednesdays and Thursdays, I had extra science and math lessons. Fridays, it was my time to play basketball with my friends. Finally, I spent most of my weekends with my family.

Gufy Media: Recount Text - Frightening Experience

After the movie was over, I left the cinema quickly. My watch showed 11.30 p.m. as I got on to my bicycle. I pedaled hard on my bicycle and was soon speeding home. My thought went back to the movie I had just seen. It was a scary story. I could remember clearly a woman screaming as she was being attacked by a monster. Somehow that frightful scene stayed in my mind and I could not forget it.
The road was dark and quiet. I had to pass a graveyard on the way home. As I approached the graveyard, I heard some sounds behind me. I was frightened and began to cycle faster. The sound came nearer and nearer. Then I heard a familiar voice calling me. I looked back and saw Hadi, my classmate. He had also seen the movie and was frightened too. Gufy Media: Descriptive Text - The Sea Eagle

The Sea Eagle

There is an eagle nesting on the tree top near my grandparent’s house in Pangandaran. It was a sea eagle. The color of its feathers is light brown. It has a strong and sharp yellowish beak. Its claws are very sharp. It hunts for fish in the sea but sometimes it hunts chickens and small birds. Eagles have many sizes, shapes, and colors, but the sea eagle is easy to recognize because it has a strong a streamlined, sharp beak and a stream-line body. Its forelimbs (or arms) serve as wings.
